It's taken a while but the new leather workshop is now complete.
Located on the top floor of the house, it provides some much needed extra space and enables me to bring everything together under one roof. Four planed and sanded scaffold boards make up the new work bench and many of the leather hides can now be stored under this. A bench this size is a real treat having for so long put up with something really not suitable for the job!
The velux windows provide plenty of working light, although the recent spell of hot weather has convinced me a good quality fan would be a sensible investment.
